CLASSIC KICKS X JERRY JASPAR '87 LUCKY 'OL SUN / BLUE MOON (FRUIT TIE-DYE)

Back in summer 2021, I worked with Jerry Jaspar to recreate his classic Lucky 'Ol Sun / Blue Moon lot shirt. At the time, I wanted to make it on heavyweight 90s style tees, so I used LA Apparel blanks, with a plastisol print. In retrospect, the shirt was beautiful, but a little too heavy on hot summer days.

After recently printing the Laughing Jack shirts on lighter blanks, with water-based inks, I've decided to run this iconic Sun / Moon design again, in similar fashion. This release will be made closer to the original 1987 lot version, printed with water-based inks on thinner tees, that will allow for smoother, 1980s style tie-dye patterns.

CAVEAT EMPTOR: since we're using water-based inks, there could be some very minor dye bleed on the prints. These aren't thick inks, that sit "on top" of the fabric. Google some vintage Jaspar shirt photos or email me if you have any questions.

These tees might also shrink a little during the tie-dye process, so please choose your size accordingly.
